Yes the great attack against Linux was sponsored by Microsoft and Sun. Oh sorry I forgot: They just paid for the rights to use UNIX in their software without risking attacks from the giant SCO.

Yeah, it's almost worse than the copyright one for digital media.

Still it is an elegant move from Microsoft:
Step one:
Recommend everyone who prefers Linux to use Suse.
Step two:
Once most are using it - find a robot you can control and attack the system with every FUD you have. (As in finance it with more than 16 Million $)
Step three:
Stand alone with the only alternative because the competition is so chaotic.
They have no shame - Did they really think we would buy it?
Step one:
