I got Muschi this HP envy17 laptop. It has a strange solution for the F1-F12 keys (must use fn) and I cannot get into BIOS!. Well I am not able to find a key combo that works.
Does anyone have a clue?

Turn on or restart the computer. While the “Press the ESC key for Startup Menu” message is
displayed in the lower-left corner of the screen, press esc. When the Startup Menu is displayed,
press f10.

This is absolutely right. It works! The problems was that I only had a one sec. window so it was easy to miss.

And you even explained why I needed to enter BIOS; you must have gotten some extra powers from Valhalla or from the Pannekakers
The problem of this Laptop is that it is to powerful for its fan.
When you go beyond the everyday use it quickly overheats, So people; do not use its full capacity or you will end up with an expensive door stopper.
