Seamonkey

Postby dedanna1029 » 03 Apr 2010, 16:53

I've been hanging on to Seamonkey 1.1.18 for as long as I possibly could. I'm not a fan of 2.x, since it just feels like another Firefox to me. I noticed that in 1.1.18, at times, it takes forever for the forum here to load pages as I go. In 2.x I'm not getting this. Is there a reason why one version of Seamonkey would do this, and another version not?

Thanks.

Nothing I can think of. It is PHP and it is according to all standards. I have noticed some small errors in seamonky regarding flash. But 1.1.8 shows everything fast here. I guess you could try clearing the cache.

I used Mozilla for the longest time. When Sea Monkey came out, a lot of sites blindly said that can not support the browser. I got tired of the constant battle, so I went to Firefox (anyway, is just Mozilla without the other stuff). I still have the last of the Mozilla version loaded on my Ol' W2K system. By the way, IMHO, W2K was the best OS that ever came out of the MS camp.
