I have attempted to setup Arch in both 32 or 64 flavors in vmware.. I have vmware workstation Ace 6.0.. i have tried both "other linux kernel 2.6.xx" for 32 and 64.. i'm trying to setup a terminal only install.. i've read the archlinux wiki on vmware several times and I'm getting no where with it.. I have searched the forums but neither vmware or arch appear.. I'm somewhat of a noob to this.. i'm probably missing the obvious.. any help would be greatly appreciated..
i thank you in advance..

Re: Arch & setting up vmware as guest..
Should this go to Help, or is it okay here? Thanks.

Hi c0d3m0nk3y and welcome
I will move this to the Help section and we will try to help you there.
In my case I have only used Virtualbox. And I have simply used the Install image to install it there. I will have to call out our Gurus (on vmware) on this one:
Gurus
(rolf jkerr b10 - anyone with vmware experience?)

In the meantime, you might have a look at the Arch Linux in VMware wiki - there's very few answers that one can't find in the Arch wiki.
Edit: Sorry, also the VMware wiki in Arch.
