Can even ls it. BUT, the prompt says @rulle - does that make a diff?

Then it works. Try filezilla then with the port I gave you in PM (Rulle is my late friend - the cat)
Manjaro 64bit on the main box -Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz and nVidia Corporation GT200b [GeForce GTX 275] (rev a1. + Centos on the server - Arch on the laptop.

Yes it works with all ftp clients and the folder should work too. Anyway you are in the clear.
