Something to consider maybe?

Postby dedanna1029 » 24 Feb 2016, 19:44

I know we're all pretty down on the likes of Facebook, but we are also fairly social beings with each other, so I propose we do something solely for members of Bjoernvold. There are times when we're really liking a post someone makes, or says something in a thread, but don't have just the right thing to say. How about a Like button on posts and in threads that only members can use for those times? That way there is some kind of feedback on these things?

I'm becoming far less social, but see a lot of things here that I do like, and a post saying "I like that" isn't appropriate. I keep wanting to hit a Like button lol.

Thank you! It's a lot of your technical posts I'm thinking about actually. If we ourselves had a system for going back over our likes to find something, that would really be superb bit I don't think there's a way for that.

I hate to say that the Berserk Google search will be the best for that.
(Top right-> Advanced search-> use the first search field)

(As you know: Google will make a note of it every time you search for "male escorts" ..or anything else :-D )

Still it doesn't do the likety-like on posts.

Me personaly; do not use like buttons. To me there is nothing to like or dislike. Just social media hype and the need to be liked.

You guys can have it, I am not going to use it.

Then maybe when Viking and others do a super useful post we should act like we give a damn.

I wasn't referring to myself in this P. I have nothing to contribute right now since the lappy thing.
However, I've seen a LOT of posts that seem to go totally unnoticed that are excellent posts (want me to link them here?). We may not have anything to say, but it would be nice for the poster to know that they haven't wasted their time in posting.

Thanks.

I have had a brief look - and it is possible.
Not sure it is worth the effort - but I'll give it a go one day I am bored and have a lot of time. This is in the "nice" not "need" category.

It might take a while....
