You are right of course it actually is Alpha! Giving it a new spin on my 32bit desktop now YAMR (yet another Mandriva replacement:)
Manjaro 64bit on the main box -Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz and nVidia Corporation GT200b [GeForce GTX 275] (rev a1. + Centos on the server - Arch on the laptop.

And ahem - it still sux. No way the bootloader is working with the live CD :f Still some waiting to do there :D
But the kde repos are fine I have been using them. I ended up installing Arch online and setting up Xorg manually. At least that works.
I think the project is showing great promise and I am sure it will be a success.

Yes it is sad but his ideas are being realized. This means that KDEmod will eventually be on its own distro, and not always compatible with Arch.
So I have now changed to Arch KDE because they are making a modular KDE too. I will keep my eye on chakra; once it is matured it can be a brilliant alternative.
