Status Mandriva

Postby viking60 » 10 Oct 2013, 14:18

It has been a while since I looked in on my Mandriva install.
I installed Per Øyvinds Moondrake and have kind of updated from there.

There where some 600 updates and a lot that had to be deleted. The update went through with a lot of dependency errors.
After logging in I noticed that the color of the rosa menu was changed.

The music does not play - so that is the same and flash does not work in FF.

inxi works just fine though so here is my system info:

Cooker has been forked and there are now "2013" repo's:

http://downloads.openmandriva.org/mirrors/

I believe that the focus of development is supposed to be on 2013.

A beta of 2013 is due, but the date has slipped several times. I don't think that a new due date has been announced.

I have no idea as to the current status of moondrake, but POK does seem to be actively working on it.

Cool. Old and new Arch and new Manjaro are looking better and better all the time, so is Kali.
