Now, you can satisfy the “corporate standard” by using Windows applications and satisfy your need to be free by using them on your Linux desktop. And the need to be virus-free would be greatly helped by making Linux or Mac clients mandatory All you need on the client side is the 2X client before you can use Autocad (or anything else) on Linux.
