We have had the Russian and the Chinese spam wave. recently they all seem to come from Pakistan.
So I removed a lot of members and banned by ip. In the case of the Chinese spam wave I banned ranges of IP's from the server.
That is not fair towards any decent Chinese forum members within that range, what we are sorry for, but within the acceptable, in terms of spam fighting.
If the Pakistanis keep this up they might get the same "honor".

I replied once to a spammers threat with this answer

you do not have the right to post garbage on someone elses forum
if you want me to stop deleting your trash then pay me for my time ($50.00 US per hour)
if you don't want to pay then consider yourself banned from this site and reported for spamming
