Chat area?

It's not abundantly clear at all where the chat area is in the subsilver2 theme; there's no link or anything to it at all. Was it removed from the forum, or ? If so, that's fine. But if it's there, shouldn't we have at least a link to it on each theme, even if it's not on the front page?

Thanks.

It is still there but not a sticky anymore. I don't think I have implemented the chat in the Subsilver theme.

Well, it was at the bottom of the front page when I was on subsilver. Now since I switched to subsilver2, I don't see it anywhere.

Thanks. I could be blind on it, but I don't even see so much as a link to the Chat area on it anywhere.

Edit: I just clicked "Chat Center" at the top of the chat center on the front page in subsilver, and it took me to chat.php .

I myself can just bookmark that, and go there when I want to use it *I think*, will try it here in a bit.

However, others wouldn't know it's there on that theme.

Edit: Sorry, on prosilver (which is what I've been meaning by "subsilver", sorry), that's where the chat center is, is on the bottom of the front page.

When I use subsilver2, and go to chat.php, I get an error:

Code: Select all

General Error
template->_tpl_load_file(): File ./styles/subsilver2/template/chat_body.html does not exist or is empty

So, I guess it's just not there at all for other themes other than prosilver.

Yep, that's what it is. If I switch to Chrimbo, I get the same thing:

Code: Select all

General Error
template->_tpl_load_file(): File ./styles/Chrimbo/template/chat_body.html does not exist or is empty

So, one can choose to use prosilver and have the chat at the bottom of the front page, or one of the others, and have no chat.
