The Mageia Infrastructure - and mailing lists

Mageia is an excellent distro and the forum is functional for getting support (Doktor 5000 is doing a great job and naturally our Oracle Berserk). Not a great playground for the community and certainly no magnet to tempt new users.'
Since I am one of the earliest members in that forum I tried to pick up on the many enthusiastic supporting suggestions of community members.

I found it discouraging that not one single suggestion was implemented - 19 months after the suggestions.

So I reported this bug and naturally the tone was somewhat challenging - but maybe enough to wake them up from the state of nirvana.

The bug was unpleasant and got closed - (more or less as trolling).

There are many good people elected to fancy functions in fancy teams over there - and they are enabled to do.....nothing. This is frustrating them - and having the likes of me breathing down their necks - they feel even more mistreated.

The berserk style is not diplomatic but mostly clear, yet I am sorry for this since added stress only leads to pacification. So I told everybody who needed to know that I never (mean to) attack people - and only address the issues.

And the state of the issues unsolved was such that even a lot of good people were completely unable to do anything with the board.
It looks like Doktor 5000 does see my point now (or has become frustrated enough) to accept that this is a structural bug.

In any case Mageia is a good distro and as far as I was concerned they could live well with that board so I removed myself from the mailing lists and left it to them to structure the forums. My input was not particularly welcome anyway :-D

And then the bug gets reopened - and the mails keep ticking in on my mailbox again :f This is the second time! the last time some change had reactivated the mailing lists again - caramba :berserk2 How about some privacy Mageia! I regret ever registering my mail.

It probably is because I reported the bug - but I cannot keep un-registering every time something changes over there.
So this is the ultimate proof of the structural problems over there:

They invited the Troll back in again

..And I don't want to be there - I gave up one year ago. They have not been able to move forward on anything regarding the board afaict.
So If you read this Doktor 5000 - get in here and help Mageia people all you want.
You will have the Google search, the topic solved function, lots of bbc code that you may or may not use, Links open in new Windows (do you hear me Barry) but you can still use your middle click, and if something is lacking - gimme an hour - or even better I'll give you the rights to spend the hour :-D
