More like stereotype, isn't it? It's funny (funny, strange, not funny, ha-ha) how some prejudices/stereotypes are embraced as humorous or otherwise acceptable while others are immediately condemned by some or another trigger-happy slogan-mouthing arbiter of PC. :arrogant:
It's a matter of context, a matter of the speaker and of the audience. It's a tightrope. Image

A little depends on the speaker of this stereotype but it's neither terribly offensive nor particularly humorous, atm, to me. :confused It depends on whose ox is being gored and, if possible, it's better to try to not let your ox get gored, move onto better uses of your time. :berserk2

Yeah humor is a dangerous thing - Preferences vary:

Why cannot all people have great humor like me?

Of course, a humble berserk cannot know these things but I think there can only be one Über-Berserk :bowlol Image

And then we have those who aren't prejudiced, but hate everyone by default.

Not either to me, either. But then, I've seen so much cartoon-make-a-statement stuff in my lifetime that I'm inundated with it, and because of it, nothing is particularly funny any more.

I think it would take much better than The IT Crowd or Monty Python to make me smile or laugh any more.
