Perfect kill shot ( hunting)

Bagged a deer this season with a perfect headshot at 125 yards
(114.3 meters )
The animal never felt a thing and dropped in her tracks.
I was mentoring a young lady hunter (youth hunt).
I've always explained never take a shot unless you are sure of your target and can put it down with a single shot.
Lots of steaks and sausages

Nice... Venison is always welcome in my tummy. What did you used? I am assuming you used a firearm instead of a bow.

That is a small, light and fast round with an almost flat trajectory.
I have been teaching my daughter with the 7.62x39 and 5.45x39, she is pretty good with both rounds with iron sights.

Summer sausage kit with spice and curing salt pack.
10 lbs of ground venison, 2 pounds of sweet sausage, 2 pounds of lean ground beef, 3 cups water, and 3/4 cup of olive oil.
Tightly stuffed in 4 collagen sleeves with about 3 lbs left over for sausage patties.
Damn good with a cold beer. ( even good without the beer)
