The sad thing is it works best in KDE. I put all of my wallpapers in a folder and animate them (the entire folder) with 15 sec (or whatever) between them. In Gnome we only have those predefined animated wallpapers.

Yeah. I still have a helluva time getting .gif thumbnails to animate in nautilus.

Well the backgrounds/wallpapers in gnome are now solved thanks to rvause and b1o! Have a lock at the "desktop" thread.

Yeah was just reading that. Don't think I want to do it though. I'm pretty specific at what I want, and generally want it to stay that way for a while. Thanks for the heads up though.

Well my problem is that I want it all, so I gather my favorites in a folder and let them change every 5 min, or every day it does not matter.
