Yes it is nice. I have given up developing flash sites some years ago. It just is not state of the art. But the nicest effects and sites can be made with it.

It is pretty much "out". You will find it in the car industry and Coca Cola but most businesses with respect for themselves, just drop it.
It can be useful to describe a technical function (animated CAD's).
