My trusty speakers of the last several years have finally gone out, but the subwoofer is still good.

I need to know what's good to get these days for an audiophile - can't spend a heckuva lot, but need something good. If I have to, I can get over what I've budgeted, around $125 USD.

Am debating on beginning to gradually build the HTPC I want. Was just informed late yesterday afternoon, that my contract at work has been extended until November.
