Openmandriva and Rosa have this great desktop switcher widget called expo (all desktops). Now I really like that one so I would like to use it on my Arch KDE installation too - so basically the question is:

Oh boy this was an easy one. It is a kwin effect - and I already had it! That marketing from Rosa confused me.
I simply have to hit CTRL+F8 to get it - If I use the switcher on the panel I have the animated cube - so I can pick and choose

I have this working under xfce4 too - I'll write it up in the tips and tricks section.

Oh, cool, thank you! XFCE is all I'll use any more, and I recommended it for my mum's installation. I'm sure she'll enjoy this too!
