I was replacing gnome-shell-extensions at extensions.gnome.org on my new Mint install, when the kicker all of a sudden stopped working. I don't know which extension it stopped working on. I can click it all day, and no menu, like it's frozen.

Extensions installed:

Alt tab
Bottom panel
Force quit
Media player
Menu
Monitor status (this one's disabled)
no a11y
notifications
Panel settings
Removable drive menu
Shutdown menu
Smart overview
User themes
Weather indicator
Window list

I tried disabling the "Menu" one, all it did was remove the kicker altogether. I tried logging out/in, and a reboot.

Any clue what could have done this?

Never mind, I found a way to get in and start turning on/off extensions that seemed like it would do this.

Beware, it's the Panel settings extension that freezes the kicker, at least here it does.
