[solved - is a limitation] .gtkrc-2.0 question

I'm working on a new desktop. I'm using shiki-noble for controls, which gives a dark background on menus. This is not a problem, I can handle that, with the exception of a couple of things (and it's merely cosmetics, really, except for one which is for readability), and I don't know where I change them in ~/.gtkrc-2.0 - I don't know which item it would be. If you notice, I have a white font on this, which is fine, but I'd rather it be a greenish-yellow to match the grass in the background (a light one; something like #a8d178):

Also, the font in window menu items is really dark against the already-dark background of them, and is hard to read, I'd like to make it the same color as suggested previously:

Which items in ~/.gtkrc-2.0 do I change for these fonts? You can see the ~/.gtkrc-2.0 file I have right now in the first screenshot, and it's not changing anything yet (or do I have to completely logout/login to see the changes?).

Fedora 14, Gnome 2.

Thanks.

Ah, it appears one does have to logout/login in order to completely see the changes, and not just "killall gnome-panel".

... and it appears, that the only two colors one can have for those fonts is either black or white... :(
