I got my wireless working pretty well, using my 6Mbps DSL and a LinkSys WRT54GL with Tomatoe 1.28 to link my systems. UNIX/Linux all the way!

I have no issues either with my speedTouch. It works just fine. On Mandriva Arch and Ubuntu boxes.
