Upgrading to Windows 10 will give you an experience as if you have upgraded your graphic card. DirectX 12 will go leaner on the CPU too.
Test have shown that the frame rate can be doubled.
The effect will be better on Nvidia cards than on AMD.
MIcrosoft building on its strengths there, which seems to be a good idea.
Sadly; what you also get with Windows 10 is the MS certified secure boot which takes the flexibility out of your hardware....
Microsoft doesn't love Linux that much
