Windows era over?

| Windows will be replaced at HP MS has never been good at gadgets and it has never been good at servers. Supercomputers are completely Windows free. So with a changing hardware market where the traditional PC's are replaced by gadgets and tablets. Microsoft is loosing ground. Some time ago Apple went passed them as the biggest tech company in the world. Microsoft has spent its capacity on trying to stop others from developing and being innovative. In the process they forgot do develop something desirable themselves. No one in their right mind wants MS software on a Cellphone or a tablet. It has to be Android or Apple. Real pros would not use MS as a server. MS is left with an older PC park that will be obsolete in 4 years and replaced by gadgets with other OS'es. They have seen this for a while and started the "everything that works on a computer belongs to Microsoft" strategy. They think this makes them look innovative but most insiders know this is just FUD. MS is not pushing any development forward. They are trying to stop whatever is created that they cannot control. They got their chance because IBM was blind and Apple was naive. And grew to the giant they are today. The downfall could be just as rapid. IBM is back - and relying on Linux! HP could be Windows free in a short time (WebOS). And Apple is not looking back. Linux is looking pretty con temperate in this picture and has proven itself very useful. More and more people will come to the conclusion that they do not need the 2 million viruses that Windows can be infected with. And it is going to be like the Ketchup bottle - shake it; and at first you get nothing - then all at once. | And oh yes it has started: In China MS is not all that popular. In order to sell Win7 they use Tux (or someone very like him) to promote Windows 7. Yes - they are pirated versions but the big point here is that they have to use Linux symbols to be able to sell Windows! Clearly Linux has a higher status than Windows if you need Tux to promote Win. I shit you not: ![]() |
