The Chakra project has decided to go forward with their own KDE distro preferably based on the Arch server. This means that KDE will be kompatible with ARCH for a while but eventually they will grow apart.
The nice thing about chakras KDEmod has been the modular building letting the user install only the wanted programs with dependencies. So if you wanted to install one KDE game you could, and the dependencies would be installed together with that one game - not all of the games.
Arch seems to have started it's own modulation of KDE so we will be looking at similar but different products at some point in time here.
I will stick to the Arch way - but I will watch the chakra project closely. It just is to early to tell how that one will turn out.
