Näh I am a fairly level headed bloke - I just like the music. Hey I had an intensive music period in the 70's, back then music did not make much sense, (due to the heavily influenced artists probably).
Yellow submarine, Lucy in the sky with diamonds (Yes it spells LSD - how very profound). Back then everybody tried to be deep and mysterious and nobody knew what their songs meant. Elton John admitted to that, he said he had absolutely no idea what he was singing.
Music can be just music - it is the sound that counts more than the lyrics (if it is the other way around it is called poetry).
It would be fun though to find the most meaningless dopeheaded song from the late 60'a and 70's. I dare you
And the there is Disco of course - they weren't even doped!
I have disliked this most of my life - Brain dead, stupid meaningless and plain bad:
